The body of a 59-year-old man from Oromocto First Nation who was reported missing to RCMP on May 17, 2017 has been found.
The body of the man was discovered by volunteer searchers at approximately 5:00 p.m. on May 21 in Oromocto First Nation along the bank of the St. John River.
At this time, foul play is not suspected in his death.
Police are continuing to work to determine the exact cause of death.
The RCMP would like to thank those who were involved in the search.
