Quebec man charged with drug trafficking

A 26-year-old Montreal, Q.C. man has been charged with drug trafficking after his vehicle was pulled over on Highway 17 near Saint-Quentin on March 28, 2017. A search of the car led to the discovery of substantial quantities of what is believed to be cocaine and methamphetamine, as well as varying amounts of steroids and marijuana.

26-year-old Johnathan Fortin appeared in court on March 29 and was charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking. He has been remanded in custody pending a bail hearing on April 3, 2017.

The investigation is continuing.
