On March 28, 2017, police arrested a 29-year-old Corner Brook man for drug offences following a three month joint RCMP/RNC investigation.
Police executed two search warrants on homes in Corner Brook and Cormack and seized approximately one kilogram of Cocaine, approximately half of a kilogram of Marihuana, drug producing equipment, drug paraphernalia and a significant amount of cash.
As a result of the seizure, approximately 4000 doses of Cocaine and 1300 marihuana cigarettes have been taken off the streets.
The man is facing charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Resisting Arrest.
He has been released from custody and is scheduled to reappear in Corner Brook Provincial Court on May 2, 2017.
