RCMP investigate suspicious fire

The St. Stephen RCMP is investigating a fire that caused major damage to one house and also damaged an adjacent house along with other property.

Police were called to a fire on Pine Street in St. Stephen at around 9:45 p.m. on February 24, 2017.

No one was injured in the fire. The cause of the fire has been deemed suspicious and the RCMP is seeking the public's assistance with their investigation.

Anyone with information about this fire or may have seen anything suspicious in the Pine Street area prior to the start of the fire is asked to contact St. Stephen RCMP at 506-466-7030. Cash awards of up to $2,000 are awarded for qualified tips that help police solve a crime.
