RCMP seek two persons of interest in death of man

The RCMP's Major Crimes Unit is investigating the death of a 47-year-old man in Moncton.

On January 24, 2017 at around 2:30 p.m., police were called to a complaint of a fight on Elmwood Drive. When police arrived, they discovered a car that had crashed on Stone Ave. Inside the car, police found the driver, a man, had been stabbed. He was later pronounced dead in hospital. Police are treating the death as a homicide. The name of the victim is not being released at this time.

Police are releasing images taken from surveillance camera of two people they would like to question in connection with the death. They were seen leaving the area in a vehicle described as a dark-coloured Buick Allure.

Anyone with any information on the identities or whereabouts of the two people in the photos or about the incident is asked to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400.
