National Youth Engagement Week October 2016

The RCMP is pleased to offer grade 11-12 students from across Canada an opportunity to learn about and experience the work of an RCMP officer.

Up to 32 students will be chosen to attend the RCMP Depot, located in Regina Saskatchewan, from November 6-10, 2017. The selection of students will be based on academic achievement, community engagement and applicant's interest in law enforcement. It is desirable for the students to possess a valid driver's license.

There will be a variety of activities planned for the students to interact with police officers from various units of the RCMP. These interactions will provide participants with a better understanding of what life is like for members of the RCMP. Activities will include drill classes, driver's training classes, observing at the RCMP firearms range, tours of Depot and the RCMP Heritage Centre and much more!

There will be two students selected from the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
