Man arrested and charged with double-doctoring

Following an extensive investigation, the RCMP Burin Federal Operations Section have arrested and charged a 38-year-old Marystown man with double-doctoring.

Double-doctoring refers to the deliberate use of two or more physicians to obtain a greater amount of a medication than one doctor would prescribe.

Kiley Foote also faces nine charges of breaching a court order.

Mr. Foote is scheduled to appear in Grand Bank Provincial Court on Monday afternoon.
