South Freetown man sentenced for dangerous driving

Aaron Charles Lea, a 22 year old man from the South Freetown area, received 40 days in jail for charges under the Criminal Code for dangerous driving and evading police while in the operation of a motor vehicle.

The incidents occurred in the Central Bedeque and Freetown area on the 6th of October 2016, while police were investigating complaints of property damage in the area. Along with Mr. Lea being incarcerated he was also prohibited from operating any motor vehicle in Canada for a period of one year. Mr. Lea is allowed to serve his time on an intermittent basis.
