The Southeast District RCMP have arrested one person and seized a quantity of marijuana and contraband tobacco after executing a search warrant at a home on January 13, 2017, on Brook Street in Picadilly.
Police seized marijuana, illegal unstamped cigarettes and cash from the residence.
A 61-year-old Picadilly man was arrested and later released from custody on a promise to appear in Saint John Provincial Court on March 30, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. to face charges related to the seizure.
The investigation is ongoing.
