Noise complaint results in drug seizure

Millbrook RCMP, with assistance from Colchester RCMP, responded to a noise complaint at a local motel resulting in the arrest of two males.

Fifty three grams of cocaine, 15 grams of hash, brass knuckles, along with a quantity of cash and drug paraphernalia were seized during the arrest.

Alexander Seymore Grady, 20, of Truro, Nova Scotia, has been charged with:

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Hash
  • Unauthorized Possession of a restricted weapon - brass knuckles
  • Fail to Comply with an Undertaking x 3


Grady is being held in custody and will appear in Truro Provincial Court on March 17.

An 18-year-old man from Great Village was also arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance (cocaine). He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Truro Provincial Court on May 31.

The investigation is ongoing.
