RCMP makes arrest in multiple break and enters

In late December 2016, Meteghan and Barrington RCMP investigated three separate break and enters into businesses within the Meteghan and Barrington areas.

An investigation began and a suspect was identified. Police officers used a variety of investigative techniques in an effort to locate the suspect.

On March 11, 21-year-old Tyrel Anthony Comeau turned himself in to the Meteghan RCMP detachment where he was charged with the following offences:

  • Break and Enter x 3
  • Theft under $5,000 x 3
  • Theft of Motor Vehicle
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

Comeau appeared in Digby Provincial Court yesterday and was remanded into custody. He is scheduled to appear in court on March 20, 2017.
