On March 10, Inverness District RCMP's Street Crime Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Louisdale, Richmond County. As a result, two adults have been charged after a quantity of oxycodone and marihuana, along with drug paraphernalia were seized in the residence.
Patricia Ann Peeples, 52, and Herbert Joseph Sampson, 54, both of Louisdale, have been charged with Possession of Oxycodone for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking.
Both appeared in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court yesterday and were released on conditions. They will return to court on April 5, 2017.
The investigation is ongoing.
