West Prince Male Receives Jail Time and Probation For Forcible Entry Into a Residence

Ryan Clements, a 25 year-old male from Glengarry, P.E.I., pled guilty to forcible entry and mischief and failure to appear in court at the Summerside Provincial Court on February 6, 2017.

Ryan Clements was charged as a result of entering a residence in Alberton on August 20, 2016 during the early morning hours while residents were home sleeping. The residents didn't know Mr. Clements and requested that he leave. Mr. Clements had been intoxicated and mistakenly entered the residence believing it to be another residence.

Mr. Clements received a sentence of 40 days in jail and was placed on Probation for 12 months and was fined $100 and has to write an apology letter to the victim.
