RCMP Traffic Services completed a day of concentrated traffic enforcement in the Springdale area of central Newfoundland on February 9, 2017. The initiative is part of an ongoing effort to ensure that our roadways in all areas of the province remain safe.
In a short period of time, 32 summary offence tickets were issued, which included:
17 speeding
3 tinted windows
1 improper cell phone use
9 seat belt violations
1 expired driver's Licence
1 improper passing
Motorists are advised to drive with caution, to slow down, don't drink and drive and to always wear your seatbelt when either operating or travelling as a passenger in a motor vehicle.
