The RCMP is advising that the Whitbourne detachment will be closed for counter service to the general public from Wednesday, January 11 to Friday, January 13, 2017, to facilitate the move to their new building.
Counter service will still be available from the Placentia RCMP detachment during the move.
The new RCMP detachment will now be located on 400 Old Brigus Road in Whitbourne.
Policing services in Whitbourne and the surrounding communities will not be affected during the move. Anyone who requires police assistance can call Whitbourne RCMP at (709) 759-2600 or Placentia RCMP at (709) 227-2000. For emergencies, call 911.
