RCMP investigating break and enter into business under construction

The Keswick RCMP is hoping information from the public can help in their investigation of a break, enter and theft committed in a garage under construction in Hanwell, N.B.

Sometime between January 27 and 30, 2017, someone broke into a garage under construction on Greenview Drive (formerly called Timothy Drive). The thief or thieves took numerous power tools, hand tools and building materials from the construction site. The value of the items stolen is estimated at $20,000.

Anyone with information, or who may have seen suspicious activity in the area between those dates, is asked to contact the Keswick RCMP at 506-357-4300. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers Secure Web Tips at www.crimenb.ca, by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or by texting TIP212+ your message to 'CRIMES' (274637).

The investigation is ongoing.
