The Doaktown RCMP are investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision on Route 8 near Astle N.B., on March 31, 2017. The victim, a 66-year-old man from Astle, N.B passed away at the scene as a result of his injuries.
The initial investigation shows that the collision occurred when the victim's vehicle, a pick-up truck which was travelling north on Route 8, lost control and veered into the southbound lane colliding with a motor home. There were no other major injuries.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
