Annette Holywhiteman was known as a calm, passive woman who wasn't afraid to stand up for herself, if necessary. She was involved a high-risk lifestyle. Annette was 44 years old when she was last seen in the Edmonton area.

In November 2010, her skull was found by hunters on a rural property near Westlock, Alberta, and was later identified in 2012.
