REGINA, June 14, 2009, 12:30 – As of this morning, one case of flu-like symptoms was reported at the RCMP Academy, “Depot” Division and that cadet has been placed in isolation. Fifteen previously isolated cadets have been discharged.
Eight cadets remain in isolation at this time.
According to the Health Services Officer, Dr. Mike Nicholls, “the suspected cases of H1N1 all seem to be mild cases and do seem to resolve relatively quickly.”
All recommended hygiene practices remain in place and we remain vigilant in monitoring the situation.
