Police Services with Electronic Vulnerable Sector Checks

The following police services are authorized to electronically submit fingerprints to the Real Time Identification (RTID) system for civil screening purposes, including vulnerable sector checks.

Electronic processing significantly reduces processing times from weeks to days and minutes when there is no match to an RCMP fingerprint holding. For updated processing times, please visit the Processing Times page.

Vulnerable sector checks must be completed by the police service of local jurisdiction where the applicant resides.
