Musical Ride Application Form - International Tours

Internationally, the Musical Ride:

• has toured in Europe, Japan and Bermuda;
• tour is 100% cost recovery, excluding salary costs;
• tours are designed to make optimum use of the members' work schedule, however, the host will be responsible for any overtime costs.

Costs are subject to local market prices, however, the major expenses include:

• air and ground transportation for 36 horses and 43 personnel;
• accommodation for 43 people;
• daily per diem for personnel; and
• stabling and feed costs.

Costs are subject to equine quarantine and import/export regulations of both Canada and the country visited. A pre-tour site inspection and meeting will be conducted at the cost of the host. The Musical Ride may delegate a third party to coordinate the tour.
