Implementation of the Firearms Marking Regulations has been deferred.

Firearms Marking Regulations

The Government of Canada announced the deferral of implementation of the Firearms Marking Regulations to December 1, 2012.

The regulations include specific marking requirements for firearms manufactured in Canada or imported into Canada after the coming-into-force date.
