  1. Order-in-Council, dated 32-03-16, transferring the "Preventive Service" of the Department of National Revenue, to the RCMP. Responsibility for policy governing the Preventive Service was retained by the Department. The Preventive Service name was subsequently changed to Customs & Excise Branch.
  2. Memorandum of Understanding with the Minister of National Revenue on the "Division of Investigative and Enforcement Responsibilities" dated 91-06-19 defines the current responsibilities with respect to enforcement.

  8. Memorandum of Understanding between the National Energy Board and the RCMP, dated 85-05-13, provides a mandate to enforce provisions of the National Energy Board Act and the Energy Administration Act .
